When people talk about ‘getting to first’ on google, I reply ‘why settle for that?’ when they could dominate the whole page, if done right.
Why settle for xxx when you can xxx
We have access to the information, will you choose to ignore it or perhaps you are afraid to know.
It reveals itself – I’m told to ‘care about ___’ and yet you refuse to care about me. Do you think that encourages me to change my mind?

Perhaps I’ve read enough sci fi and have made it a habit to ‘extrapolate’ in to the future because I knew immediately, with no charts or authorties telling me what to do, that this was going to be far LESS damaging than to shut down everything that helped us lead a dynamic, full life.
Or perhaps escaping a batterer helped me because I too lived with blinders on… until I broke free. I remember that it required a TREMENDOUS amount of counseling and the right questions and I finally could see things for what they were.
I hope this page helps you break free too. I don’t do this for me because I already see the issues. The time and energy and resources expended here could be put to better use to my own ends. I know that it is all connected though. I just wish ‘the powers that be’ that aren’t, could inform their decisions with ‘enlightened self interest’ as well.
