The First X-Ray Ever Taken Was Of A W. C. Röntgen’s Hand
X-ray technology is not something new. It has been around since December 22, 1895. A man by the name of Wilhelm Röntgen is the one who took the first X-ray. Naturally, he X-rayed a very easy-to-reach part of the body: the hand. The X-ray technology in the 1800s wasn’t the technology we know today, but it did provide the first look at the skeleton through the skin without having to perform any kind of autopsy.
