Part of the Everyday Spacer ‘mission’ is to help any and all other spacer-related organizations who would like our help (and we’ve seen some disappear when they have rejected our help so…).
While we are very generous with our support, we have seen a couple of things which rankle a bit and felt the need to have some ‘rules’ so here they are…
If you are hosting an event, we’d love to post it to the Everyday Spacer meetup near you!
As our guest, please bear in mind that the meetup has been years in the making and we are helping our members as well as you so, if there is an ‘ad’ embedded in the text, that is there to serve our members.

Posting your event to an Everyday Spacer meetup is about the event. Yes, a link to more information is fine. Yes, a link to the event on Facebook is fine too.
Please don’t clutter your event with your other hashtags, promo site stuff or @twitterhandle type things. If you’d like to be a sponsor, we can discuss that kind of thing.
MARKETING TIP: within the prose of your event, you might want to encourage them to visit the page with your promo stuff. One of my favorite ways is to use ellipses and leave em hanging, like this…
Please only post your event ONE TIME to the meetup.
I may refer you to this page every time you want to post to our meetups because things happen and I may need more rules. I never thought I would need any rules, so stay tuned.
I try to be really nice at all times. I think we all need that. If being nice doesn’t work however, I will be firm to protect my readers/followers and this site.
