The NewSpace 2013 Conference agenda is now available at newspace.spacefrontier.org. Hosted by the Space Frontier Foundation, the NewSpace 2013 Conference is the premier opportunity for emerging commercial space companies along with established space leaders to envision the near- and long-term vision of the NewSpace industry. NewSpace 2013 will be held at the DoubleTree Hotel San Jose in the heart of Silicon Valley on July 25-27, 2013.
Under the theme of Preparing for Exponential Growth, the conference panels will explore a wide range of commercial space themes, such as the “New Wave of Public-Private Partnership” and “The Business Case for On-orbit Servicing,” as well as a focus on cutting edge research, including “Growing the Microgravity Research Market” and “Sustaining Long-term Human Presence in Space.” The conference will feature special addresses from NASA leadership such as Deputy Administrator Lori Garver and other leaders in the industry. For many, a highlight of the conference will be the NewSpace Business Plan Competition, which will introduce several up-and-coming space businesses and present the top competitor with a $100,000 prize. The conference will be capped by Saturday’s star-studded NewSpace Awards Gala.
