“Nyack, NY March 26, 2013 — The Space Frontier Foundation today opened applications and announced the schedule for 2013 NewSpace Business Plan Competition.”
The Everyday Spacer team is gathering to win the ‘Space Scalable’ category of the annual Business Plan Contest.
Our basic concept is to build a core website which has resources, and links to existing resources, for ‘everyday spacers’ to start ‘training up’ for the time when we are a spacefaring civilization.
On the site, we encourage and reward anyone in the world to play space related games, launch a PongSat, start a business to support space efforts, attend a space lecture or conference, or whatever, and report it for badges, credits and earn ways to get more.
There you can gain knowledge and experience and opportunities to get involved with real missions, etc.
Think scouting, “The Last Starfighter” and edutainment blended together to develop the human potential to do everything it takes to travel off world and to the stars.
We worked out the tasks to win so we are fundraising, building an Advisory Board, and our reputation on iCrowd.com. If you would like to play in any way, watch this site and the ‘Project‘ pages. Just ask and you’ll be included.
It’s all about action.
We are in motion!
